Cultural Mysteries
In Canada, you will find too many difference compared with my home country. In Canada, most people was boring in the nihgt, and the night in Canada is quite silent, this makes me really confused and I was wondering what people doing in the evening. But in my hometown, it is not always like that. Second, In Canada, when you involved in a group meeting, you should talk first instead of thingking the question, this is really strange because sometimes I have no time to prepare. Third, many canadians do not konw about Chinese culuture, and sometimes they even make many funny mistakes between we talks about the nationality. Fourth, in Canada, once teacher ask questions, there are people who shout the answer really loudlu. However, In China, the teacher will treat this situation like lack of respectness. The last one is canadians likes camping a lot, maybe this is the lifestyle here and it is also great for the people to release their pressure. Now, I was trying to adapt to the life here; even though I do not understand their lifestyle sometimes, but I will try my best to involve in the new lifestyle.
Movie night
picture from http://teaser-trailer.com/2010/09/due-date-trailer.html
This sunday evening, I went to the silver city at metrotown to saw a movie called "Due Date" with several friends. The movies main actors were Robert Downey, one of my favourite actors and Zach Galifianakis who acted in "Hangover". I heard that Tony said it was really funny, so I invited my friends to view the movie. The movie talks about Robert Downey Jr. must get to LA in five days to be at the birth of his firstborn. However, His wallet and luggage was stolen, and he is put on the "no-fly" list. Desperate to get home Peter is forced to accept the offer of Zach Galifianakis to hitch a ride with him cross-country. Robert is about to go on a terrifying and agonizing journey of his life. All in all, this is a movie that I highly recommend you guys to see.

The Effect Coming to Canada Had on Me
When I was first time to Canada, I found everything is different. The weather is really awesome in Vancouver, and the communication is also hard for me who was just a freshmen in abroad life. However, I was so happy to discover and practice my personal ability in many parts of the life. At first, I was a introverted person who was pretty shy to have a conversation with people from various countries, but through some outdoor activities, I begin to enjoy the life in Vancouver. Although the life is often boring because the international students had nothing to do and I can only stay at home. One of the most important benefits in Canada is we can learn many things that not from the text book and it always challenging for you to enhance your skills for different area.
Also, After I came to Canada, I start to learn how to cook simple foods for better nutrition purpose. It is hard but interesting. The most positive effect on me is I am growing up all the time and never stop when I meet the troubles. It's really significant for me to improve my independent skills.

Sad letter
Dear Vicky:
It's a long terrible holiday for me. I have screwed up our relationships in such a short time. All I have done is really sad for me. I miss you and I miss you and I lost you finally. I hope we can be friedns, and forget all of bad memories as soon as possible. Even though this is really tough to me, but I have to move on. I will let you go if you wish to have you own lifestyle. Maybe it is so called wrong time period meets a wrong person. But we are going to separate directions for good. This is good for you. I think you'll find someone to love again. And hopefully we will still be close buddies.

Eating habits of different countries
Everyone country has its own special foods. For illterate, Japanese food is famous for its Sushi, and chinese food is famous for its dumplings. As a matter of fact, when I went to Canada to study, one of the most important things for me is the food choice. Honestly, first time ate some foods in Vancouver is quite hard to choose. All of the stuffs were really fresh to me. I had to adapt to a new life without delicious chinese food. After a short time studying, I had tasted some special western food. However, Canada is a immigrant country, so it has nothing really special canadian food. But I began to enjoy the pizza and burger's life. Even though it was not healthy at all. In China, we have various chinese food, and many of them are amazing, even for the foreigners. One of the bad point is chinese people prefer more oil to make the meat or vegetable more delicious, but the too much oil is really bad for people.
When I was in Canada, I began to learn homecooking. I though I had some talent in this area. Here are some cooking stuffs by myself. LOL!(chicken wings !)

Arsenal is one of the most famous football clubs in the England. It was founded in 1886, and in 1893 became the first club from the south of England to join the Football League .It has the most talented players in the team, and also have a experienced manager who had worked for the team about ten years long. There are many reasons that why I love this club most. The most significant reason is Arsenal plays the most fantastic game during the match, and it is really delightful when you watch them play the soccer match.
